To set the theme for Onam and increase the likes on the page while engaging with the Malayali audiences on the page.


We decided to create 10 posts themed around Onam – one for each day of the festival. This campaign was called “#EnteOnam” campaign, meaning “My Onam” in Malayalam. Every post talked about a unique custom of Onam in Kerala like snake boat race, flower arrangement, folk dance performances, etc. These were created in a unique illustration format using the Calicut Paragon brand colours – red, white and black. Simultaneously, we also held an #EnteOnam contest where we asked fans to send in their old Onam pictures or pictures from this year’s Onam preparations. Ten best entries were rewarded with meal vouchers from Calicut Paragon.


The contest received overwhelming participation and the hashtag was widely used. The campaign helped the page increase its likes by 891. It saw a reach of over 205,260 unique users and 371,496 impressions. The comments on each of the posts in total reached up to 223.
